Lots of people ask me what they can plant now that winter is on its way. Herbs. There are loads of herbs available; thyme, chervil, lemon balm (perfect for tea), coriander, chives, oreganum and of course rosemary and Lavender.
This weekend we showed off our Syrah planters at Seringa Living Gallery's pop-up shop. They were a great success and we sold all of them and have orders for more.
If you want one just pop us a mail and what you'd like planted and we'll deliver it. They're R850 which is normally the cost of the planter alone.
Even Oscar couldn't resist the spicy smell of coriander, lemon balm, lemon thyme, and rosemary.
This is also a good time to plant green and red lettuces and rocket and chives.
I've been planting loads of Dentata Green Lavender. It is unbelievable - the fresh green leaves and bold purplish flowers make a vivid statement. We dressed up the boxes with brightly coloured pansy's which are also edible.
It's been a hectic couple of days of intense copywriting - hence - my disappearance of late. I've managed to conquor the mountain of work sitting on my desk and I even got around to tidying my office up a bit. I couldn't find a thing.
But, I did find something special in my garden. A Baby Sunrose heartleaf Ice Plant growing amongst the Lavendar. Tiny but it packs a punch.
